About Anuka Jewellery:

Chester-based ethical jewellery brand Anuka create beautiful and contemporary jewellery made from recycled and certified Fairmined precious metals. With a strong commitment to sustainability, they have considered every element of their production from sourcing, to development, to packaging.  They are the first jewellery label to incorporate Provenance technology onto their website - Provenance is a platform that supports and enables transparent ecommerce.

Fair Pay and Good Working Conditions:

All of Anuka jewellery is crafted in the U.K. either in house by the Founder, Francesca Kippax or through skilled craftspeople who Anuka have built strong relationships with since their launch. Anuka only use 100% recycled gold and silver or Fairmined gold. Fairmined gold acts as an assurance label, working with small scale artisanal mines to provide safe working conditions, and a fair premium for their gold.

Sustainable / Organic Materials:

Anuka use 100% recycled gold and silver on a number of their designs meaning that the metal already in the supply chain from old jewellery and industrial waste for example.

Sustainable Practices:

As Anuka have incorporated Fairmined gold into their products, the associated practices to produce their Fairmined gold ensure that reduced chemicals are used within the extraction process, that water supplies are uncontaminated, and that the impact on the surrounding environment is limited to a sustainable level.
